3D not 3D is a deep dive into vector manipulation, dedicated to replicating the depth and texture of 3D product renders using nothing but flat 2D tools. By leveraging advanced layering techniques, combining precise multi-stop gradients, inner shadows, strategic background blurs, and angular lighting effects, this collection re-creates real-world hardware concepts with almost similar surface details. The project serves as both a CMF material study and a challenge to the standard perception of what can be designed inside a canvas primarily built for flat interfaces…
